Dogri translation of Julius Caesar processed by SIL

JAMMU, Oct 1: Dogri Translation of Shakespeare’s world classic ‘Julius Caesar’ by well known name in literary and cultural circles, Madan Gopal Padha, has been processed and catalogued by the Shakespeare’s Institute Library (SIL) making it accessible on-line world over.
The library, which provides unparalled resources for the study of every aspect of Shakespeare’s life and works contains about 60000 volumes, archives and manuscripts audio-video collections, valued the unabridged Dogri translation of Julius Caesar as a significant publication and termed it as marvelous addition to SIL collection.
Claimed to be the first unabridged translation of the great tragedy, Dogri Translation of Julius Caesar has been published by Saraswati Prakashan, Surya Vihar, Jammu with an exclusive 60-page preface by late Prof Lakashmi Narayan Sharma, scholar son of the soil.
