Dogri Musical Play ‘Har Behre Ek Butta Lao’ staged

JAMMU, July 7: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education here today staged Dogri Musical Play ‘Har Behre Ek Butta Lao’ at Durga Bhawan Park, Janipur.
The play revolved around the concept of preserving natural resources at grass root level.
Former Regional Director Song and Drama Division along with V.K Magotra, former Regional Director Directorate of Field Publicity were the chief guests while J.K Raina, Producer, Director Films and Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department were the guests of honour.
The play focussed at protection of environment.
Apart from the play, skits, slogans Songs and dances were also presented to aware the masses about the importance of environment.
Music in these presentations was composed by renowned singer Raju Bajgal.
The chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes to commemorate Van Mahotsav.
In welcome address V.K Magotra, MD BLSKS stressed to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth.
The singers, musician, actors and students who performed in the musical play were Usha Handoo, M.C Kotwal, Rajni Gupta, Kuldeep Raj, Sumeta Bhat, Dhruv Pandit, Chahat Chadha, Sunil Kumar, Deevam Jandiyal, Bhumika Chib, Sawan Koul, Azen Ali, Shiv Kumar, Rakshit Sharma, Bodh Raj, Mohan Sharma, Ujwal Sharma, Asha Koul, Nitin Sharma, Parul Sharma, Raj Shukla, Ram Raj, Swayam, Sakshi, Mukesh Arora, Bindia Arora and others.
The programme culminated with the vote of thanks by Master Deepak Kumar.
