Though, the KIFF witnessed screening of cinema world’s over 143 elite feature and 53 documentary contemporary collections but Geetiyan secured a distinct slot sparing some most precious moments for its team that skillfully knit each and every sequence of this Dogri classic with utter keenness and cinematic acumen.
After the exuberant screening of Geetiyan at Nandan-3 Auditorium, the team members associated with the flicker including Arun Sharma (Producer), Tanveer Dar (Lead actor), Bharat Arora (DOP) and Raahul Sharma (Writer and Director) shared their experiences and journey in the making of this excellent work of art depicting an era of Jammu region comprising gang wars, emotional hiccups, trauma of losing dear ones and role of police and political class besides vivacious culture and heritage of the region.
Pertinent to mention here that Geetiyan kept Jammu’s audience glued to silver screen for a continuous spell of several months and movie lovers have time and again demanded at various platforms associated with arts and culture to release the film once again for those who missed the chance when it had hit cinemas in Jammu region.
