JAMMU, Aug 17: The activists of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena held a protest demonstration under the leadership of Ashok Gupta at Canal road and torched the effigy of the Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit along with Pakistani flag against the heavy Pak shelling in residential areas across LoC and IB.
Addressing the protestors Ashok Gupta said that the unprovoked firing by Pakistani troops on the LoC since August 8 has left six people killed and over 10 injured.
He said the Pakistani High Commission in India should be barred and Pakistani High Commissioner should be sent back till Pak mends its ways and stops unprovoked cross border firing and creates conditions for restoration of total peace on IB and LoC.
He said the targeting of civilian areas will not to tolerated at any cost and Pakistan has to pay a heavy price for that. He urged the Government of India to act and give a befitting reply to Pakistan as its days are numbered now. He said Pakistan is the worst enemy of human prosperity and peace loving people across the world should join hands against it as now it has become evident that Pak is the mother of terrorism.
