Dogra discusses problems of old city with JMC Commissioner

JAMMU, Jan 29: Chairman OBC Department of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, Suresh Kumar Dogra here today called on Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Avni Lavasa and discussed the problems of old city especially Jammu East Constituency.
Dogra highlighted the problems of parking of vehicles from Panjtirthi to Bikram Chowk, poor drainage systems, poor cleanliness in small and congested lanes, dilapidated drains of the old Jammu city and problems due to illegal construction of buildings-both residential and commercial.
The Congress leader claimed that officials of JMC are in hands in glove with the violators and contractors who are continuing illegal constructions in the city and demanded completion of work of some drains and lanes in old Jammu city.
The JMC Commissioner assured for early redressal to the problems highlighted by Dogra.
