JAMMU, Aug 18: Learning is a never-ending process so there is a need for continuous enhancement in teaching-learning methodology. Keeping in view the same, IQAC of Dogra Degree College in collaboration with the Department of Management organized a faculty knowledge sharing Programme on Data Analysis using MS-EXCEL, SPSS & R.
Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal Dogra Degree College advised all the participants to make use of the hands-on sessions to get some idea for their individual research problems and disseminate the knowledge gained among the students and peer group as well.
The workshop was conducted by Dr. Vipin Khurana, Faculty and area Coordinator-Analytics, IBS Gurgaon on “Data Analysis using MS-EXCEL, SPSS & R”. The session started with the introduction of the data analytics techniques. The session on Advanced Excel was structured to give advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to the faculty members for Research purposes. The session also involved hands-on exercises that helped faculty members to gain practical knowledge of excel, SPSS & R.
In the second session, DDC organized a student knowledge sharing programme on “Corporate Expectations from Campus to Cubicles” for the students of the Management Department.
