LONDON, Apr 28: Director of “Doctor Who”, Lawrence Gough, has discussed the deleted scenes in the tenth season of the show.
The director revealed a touching bar scene could not make it into the main reel of the sci-fi TV series, reported The Independent.
“There was a whole sequence in the bar scene, where Heather and Bill first meet, and we spin around them.
“When we spun around them, what was originally revealed was that the Doctor was on stage playing guitar. It’s a great sequence, it was lovely to shoot,” Gough told Den of Creek.
He said Peter Capaldi, who stars in the titular role, was playing a heavy-metal-inspired version of Clara’s Theme on guitar.
The moment may appear on the deleted scenes collection of the DVD. (PTI)
