Surrender to God first , what every religion says but in this age, new generation always asks for the logic. In a spiritual discourse I attended last day in an Ashram, a young boy who accompanied my friend asked me “uncle, how can one surrender to God completely whom we have not seen? Experienced and felt may be in some instances when miracles happen but everything otherwise goes as per routine. When atheists say they do not believe in God and still survive along with those who believe his existence, why their existence and wellbeing is not challenged by God”. The question made me dumb as I was not prepared for the answer and choose to sought some another occasion to convince him and clear his doubt.
If motives for the actions of “Man” are traced farther and farther back, the ultimate aim will be found to be same with all i.e. the removal of pain and attainment of Bliss. Universally, all sects believe in this and that is why people believe in religion and in God because everybody wants to live happily and even if one commits suicide it will be because he/she wanted to be happy and praying to get rid of all miseries, and may or will achieve happiness after death as per one’s believe. So this curiosity or you may say temptation compels them to trust God through one way (religion) or the other further believing that misfortune may not make him suffer in any way. Some fear that their such and such acts will lead them to hell and comparatively ,their better acts can lead them to Heaven although Heaven and Hell may be all presumed perceptions in order to be examples for good or bad activities as many of us believe. In other way it can be said that People may not be God believers but fear psychosis of God prevail their minds . There are many unanswered questions , leaving aside sudden miracles, which lead us to believe in a Supreme power . Creation of human beings with similar structure, with senses of feeling, smelling, vision, hearing , tendency of growing , decaying and maturing in a particular fashion for each species are some that can be cited to a few among millions. Systematic reproduction system in each category, and their gene developments, miraculous working of brain and eye which can take focus, filter and handle more than 1.5 millions ( as per human research ) of massages in a second and distinguish among seven million colours simultaneously, are miraculous parameters which are unimaginable to be under any body’s control other than some Supreme power. Similarly there are there so many examples in all the living/ non living universe. All the more the start of living organism from non living matters, years and years ago, is also unanswerable by the scientists and the atheists. The big bang explosion of energy and light which is said to be a start of universe is unexplainable even now. The universe has not always existed. It had a start…why and what caused that? Scientists have no explanation. Much of life may seem uncertain, but look at what we can count on day after day: gravity remains consistent, the earth rotates in the same 24 hours, and the speed of light doesn’t change — on earth or in galaxies far from us. How is it that we identify laws of nature that never change? Why is the universe so orderly, so reliable? As per universal law “Decay and reproduction is a constant process”. Are these not miracles. Day by day scientists prove that every thing in this universe abides by well settled rules may be some yet not known to man . Although it was easy to imagine to have world in which conditions change unpredictably from instant to instant with no body to be answerable. More importantly to play a creator, Man has made Robots as replica to perform some activities as human do and similar replicas have been made for the flying birds to be operative from remotes which they operate or stop working as per their wish . In case of humans the remote is with each individual . But then again in whole of universe , what is said, the final remote is in the hands of God , a supreme authority. Similar is the case when all electronic waves can be made inert by jammer in order to make any robot or electronic device useless.
There are lot of things we fail to understand. Why this is happening and why that happened out of routine/ ethics, are the questions often asked by the non believers . But it is also fact that radio waves, television, micro waves and other electronic waves can not be visualised until and unless we are equipped with the instrument capable of receiving the same. Similarly we are deprived of receiving massages from God without the proper ability of catching the same wave lengths in which these are transmitted but must be there in the universe and spiritually advanced persons have some access to some of these prior happenings. Hence we can say that world functions within the limitations of our senses and perceptions and the other happenings are miracles.
