Srinagar, Jul 19: Jammu and Kashmir government today asked all its departments not to depute any officer for training outside the state without the prior approval of the general administration department (GAD).
“It has been observed that some departments depute/nominate officers outside the state/country for training programme at their own level without consultation/approval of the general administration department which (is) tantamount to violation of the circular instructions and making the officers concerned liable for action,” said a circular issued by the GAD.
The circular said therefore, all administrative secretaries must ensure that the proposals involving deputation or visit of officers for undergoing training programmes and other official work outside the state or country are submitted to the GAD for obtaining prior approval. (Agencies)
