LOS ANGELES, Apr 29: Rapper DMX has checked himself into a rehab, after cancelling three shows in West Coast, California.
The 46-year-old “Party Time” hitmaker, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was unable to perform due to an unspecified medical issue, reported TMZ.
“It is important right now that he take some time off to focus on his health so that he can be a better father, friend and entertainer,” his manager, Pat Gallo, said in a statement.
DMX entered a treatment center in Southern California.
A source said that he flew to California because he felt he was “moving to a dark place” and wanted to make sure he stayed on the right path. (PTI)
