Slathia, who is also senior State vice president of the party, said unity in diversity of the State had been the real strength which has always opposed the politics of deceit and duplicity. He assailed Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party for inciting passions by indulging in falsehood. He described the brief tenure of PDP as a misrule which witnessed institutional fabric of the State getting tormented which the then coalition partners working towards belittling each other for vested interest.
He said NC led Government under the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah gave a new direction to development with opportunities of progress to all. This helped all the three regions and their sub-regions grow in each sector of development. He said the achievements of Omar led Government during the past six years have been eye-sore for the opponents who are left agenda-less.
