JAMMU, Aug 4: Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal today visited the interim campus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu to review the arrangements put in place for the inaugural ceremony slated on August 6.
Inspector General of Police, Jammu, Danish Rana and senior officers from police and civil administration were present on the occasion.
Dr. Kotwal took a detailed review of arrangements for security, water, power supply and traffic management. He directed the concerned departments to work in tandem to ensure requisite arrangements are put in place for the event.
The Divisional Commissioner took a round of the campus and took stock of the facilities for the students.
