Div Com inaugurates Langer Seva of Niyas

JAMMU, June 29: Langer Seva of Baba Amarnath & Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas was inaugurated by Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras and lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
Food was served at Shri Geeta Bhawan, Parade Ground, Jammu to saints and other pilgrims who have come for Shri Amarnath Ji pilgrimage.
The Divisional Commissioner was accompanied by Pawan Kumar Kohli, president and Sudershan Khajuria general secretary of Niyas along with Leela Karan Sharma, president VHP J&K and they visited halls where Sadhus and pilgrims are accommodated.
The Divisional Commissioner also visited Registration Centre and Health Counter at Geeta Bhawan from where the Registration Slips and compulsory health certificates are issued to saints.
He appreciated the efforts of Niyas for providing logistics and food to the devotees coming for both Shri Amarnath Ji and Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Yatras.
The Divisional Commissioner also said that all religious, social, trade organizations and Sabha-Biradaries remain in supportive role with administration to make these pilgrimages successfully conducted.
Karan Singh Charak, senior vice president, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Anoop Aggarwal, Deepak Dhawan, vice presidents, B.K Gupta, treasurer, Suresh Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Sham Langer, Rajesh Bhasin-all office bearers of Niyas along with Sat Pal Sharma, Secretary Red Cross, Anil Suri, Ex. Chairman FOI, Prabhat Singh, general secretary, Sanatan Dharam Sabha and heads of various religious and social organizations were also present on the occasion.
