JAMMU, Jan 30: The State Government has accorded sanction for constitution of District Level Committees under Saubhagya scheme to ensure last mile connectivity of all the remaining un-electrified households in Jammu and Kashmir.
Headed by the concerned District Development Commissioner as the Chairman, the District Level Committee will identify all the left out un-electrified households/villages, get the date duly vetted through concerned public representative and furnish information to the Chief Engineer, Commercial Survey, J&K (Nodal Officer) within one month for compilation.
The committee shall be comprising concerned ACD, Executive Engineer (Electric Division) and Executive Officer Municipalities as Members and concerned Superintending Engineer PDD as the Member Secretary.
