JAMMU, Apr 6: Amid outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the distribution of relief material continued on the day-13 of the lockdown.
Former Minister Chander Parkash Ganga today presented 5000 packets of soaps to J&K Sewa Bharti Trust Jammu on behalf of Patanjali Ayurveda Jammu for distribution among the needy persons.
District Administration Ramban along with Civil QRT Ramban distributed water bottles and biscuit packets at Karol Ramban to peoples who complete there quarantine period in different places in Jammu and were returning to there hometown though SRTC buses service.
Executive Member BJP J&K Raman Suri distributed dry ration in different localities of Jammu among people belonging to Below Poverty Line at Gosai Basti and Jogi Gate in the presence of Kotwal Pancham Giri, who had identified those in dire need of ration. The party workers, led by Raman Suri, ensured that those people get ration, who genuinely need it and people don’t hoard it in their homes unnecessarily.
HelpAge India Jammu Team provided dry ration at Shiv Nagar Jammu among 50 families residing in slums. Sunita Santoshi, State Manager HelpAge India was also present on the occasion.

Helping Hand (NGO) Bari Brahmana distributed packed lunch among needy people. ACR Samba along with members of the NGO were present on the occasion.
Langar Sewa for needy people continued at Chadwal Panchayat. Sarpanch Seemant Sharma, Parshotam Sharma, Bittu, Golu, Anil (Panna), Som Dutt Rasoia, Ajay Sharma and many others were present on the occasion.
Border Welfare Organization distributed ration among needy people at village Karalian. Chairman of the organization Avinash Choudhary, SHO Ramgarh Inspector Chaman Gorkha, Arjun Singh, Suresh Sharma, Naib Sarpanch Sunil Choudhary, Panch Balkar Singh, Gurdeep Kumar and many others were present on the occasion.
Jammu team of We The Human Forum for Nature and Mankind distributed ration items to 69 families at Subash Nagar and Rajpura areas. Prem Singh Chief Spokesperson, Anuj Kumar Organising Secretary and Ajab Singh member of the Executive Body We The Human and Incharge Police Post Sarwal Vishav Pratap Singh were among others present on the occasion.
Free meals distribution was started at M/s Tawi Auto Fuels, Jhajjar Kotli Jammu for truck drivers, passengers and local labourers.

Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) in collaboration with organizations like Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad distributed relief material and masks in villages Seal and Battal Baliyan among 31 needy families.

President All J&K Ambedkar Dalit Samaj Welfare Forum Ashok Jogi distributed ration among the needy people of Rajpura, Shiv Nagar and Shakti Nagar areas.
Rashtriya Swaya-msewak Sangh (RSS) distributed the masks and kitchen edible kits among the needy families and labourers hailing from Chattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh viz widows and orphans in District Kishtwar.
500 kits of dry ration were distributed by different wings of SS Jain Sabha. Jenender Jain President Trikuta Nagar and Channi Wings of SS Jain Sabha distributed 300 kits of dry ration, while 100 kits were distributed through Corporator Ward Number 2 Lalit and 100 kits through Ex-MLA Rajesh Gupta. 600 packets of meal were distributed by Gunender jain President Gandhi Nagar Wing of SS Jain Sabha.
Secretary Indian Red Cross Society Jammu Region Vinod Malhotra along with his staff members visited Bhagwati Nagar, Mahinder Nagar, Pooran Nagar, Muthi, Roop Nagar, Paloura and Buta Nagar areas and provided ration and other food items to the poor and needy people.
Covid-19 warriors of 29 Battalion CRPF distributed dry ration to 15 families residing in Chanpora and 9 families residing in Nowgam.
J&K Sangram Sena distributed essentials among the weaker section families at Charu Nallah and Kamini Nagrota. RK Raina, President Sangram Sena, Ravi Singh Sarpanch Kamini Nagrota and Capt Rattan Singh Langeh, General Secretary were also present on the occasion.
All J&K POJK 1947 Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum distributed ration and other food items among the post and labourers of Ward Number 53 Trikuta Nagar and Nanak Nagar. Advocate Amrik Singh, Paramjeet, Surjeet Singh, Mohinder Singh, Jagjit Singh, Nasib Singh, KD Singh and Prem Singh were among others present on the occasion.
