JAMMU, Apr 24: Distribution of ration and essential items continued in various areas.
Senior Congress leader and Ex MLC Subash Gupta distributed ration material to needy persons in Hiranagar.
Gandhi Global Family Jammu City distributed dry ration among 35 needy families mostly matador and auto drivers of Kachi Chawni identified by Police Station Pacca Danga, Jammu. Relief material was distributed by GGF Jammu City Chapter in presence of GGF Vice President Padmashri Dr S P Varma. Raman Sharma GGF Jammu City Coordinator, Jaswinder Singh GGF Advisor Jammu, Parminder Singh GGF Executive Jammu, Omesh Soni, Avinash Bhasin, Rajiv Luthra, Sanjeev Luthra, Sanjeev Kohli, Rajat Bakshi, Ankush Varma, Raghav Changotra and Amit Varma distributed the material among the needy families.
Sahil Gupta, Corporator from Municipal Committee Bishnah Ward Number 7 provided ration to the needy people of Ward Number 7. President Pradhan Safaikaramchari Union Vikas was also present.
Lavish Social and Educational Trust distributed ration, medicines and other essential items among the poor and needy families at their door steps in Sarwal, Barnai, Dharmal and Bantalab area. Vinod Pandita Chairman LSET, Vishal Jotshi, Vinod Bhat and Rakesh were present on the occasion.
Prof Jagdish Raina and his son Naresh Raina distributed food material to the needy people of their locality at Daily Excelsior Lane Janipur Jammu. Prominent among those present were SI Jarnail Singh and cricketer Raman Thaploo.
SNM Branch Gurha Brahmana (Bantalab) Jammu distributed over 100 ration kits to the families in need around Janipur and Bantalab areas. Shubham Kumar, Incharge, Sewadal, Gian Chand Kshtriya Sanchalak, SNM Jammu and Satish Sharma Mukhi, SNM, Gurha Brahamana were also present.
The Roller Athlete Skating Club Jindrah under the leadership of Narinder Kumar Malhotra Organizing Secretary provided dry ration to the people of Jandyal Upper Panchayat, Block Mathwar through Sarpanch Joginder Singh. Naib Sarpanch Mohd Khan, Panches Girdhari Lal, Rattan Lal, Srishta Devi, Niyamat Bibi and many other members of the Panchayat were present on the occasion.
Former Member Legislative Council (MLC) Vikram Randhawa distributed ration at Raipur Satwari in Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment. Others present on the occasion include Bharat Bhushan, Capt Kehar Singh, Ramesh Chib, Hans Raj, Sunil Kumar, Suraj Rana, Mandeep Singh, Daler Singh, Sahil Chib and others.
Former MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar along with BJP leaders distributed free ration among poor and needy families from many Panchayats. UT Executive Member Manjeet Razdan, Koushal Kotwal, District Vice President Sanjay Saraf, Mandal President Bhalra Chinta Bihari Lal, Sarpanch Misrata Rakesh Kotwal, Sarpanch Manthla Kuldeep, BJYM Ex General Secretary Vinod Rajproyat were also present on occasion.
We The Human distributed free ration kits among 21 families in distress at Peerkho Jammu. Ration kits were distributed among migrant labourer families from Thathri, District Doda and outside J&K. The relief was distributed by Ajab Singh Executive Member of “We The Human” and volunteer Parminder Singh. Earlier, Udhampur team of “We The Human” led by Sukhdev Singh reached distressed families at village Rakh Badali in Udhampur district and provided ration items to them.
Mohan Lal Verma, builder, RV Electronics Proprietor Rahul Verma donated food material to the needy and poor people of their locality. Prominent among others present were Narinder Sardalia, Amar Manhas, Rakesh Sharma and Amit Gupta.
In the second phase of distribution of free ration in the lockdown situation, the District Administration Leh is continuously making every effort to provide free ration to the migrant labourers in Leh district. In this endeavour, free ration were distributed among 375 migrant labourers at Sankar of Leh city. 250 kilograms of potato was also distributed among the labourers. Soaps and face masks are also being distributed among them.
Around 1000 masks and 150 sanitizers were distributed among the people in Ward Number 12 by General Secretary JKPYC and Vice President Municipal Council Kishtwar Firdous Mingnoo.
MD Bandey Memorial Society Poonch covered the Panchayat Degwar Terwan and distributed dry ration to 59 families of widows, handicapped and very poor persons. General Secretary Er Saleem Banday, Sohail Imtiaz, Mohd Akram, Mohd. Shabir, Ex Sarpanch Shams Din, Mir Mohd and Mushtaq Ahmed were also present.
All India Students Federation (AISF) Doda distributed rice, oil, salt, soyabeen and soap among needy people of village Kumral, Rehnote, Chavani, Maslal and Kantour of Panchayat Malwana East, Teshil Gundna of District Doda. Mukesh Parihar former State President of AISF, District President Sulinder Parihar, District Gerenal Secretary Raj Kumar, Om Singh, Madan Lal, Kamaljeet Kumar and Rishi Kumar were present on the occasion.
Volunteers of Ekal Abhiyan Sambhag Jammu distributed 35970 masks among the people free of cost in Jammu Province. 11100 masks were distributed in Rajouri, whereas in Kathua 8700, in Udhampur 5450 and Chander Bagha Bagh 10720 masks were distributed. Some other volunteers are distributing ration among the needy people also.
J&B Bank Cluster Officer Samba distributed ration in hotspot zone Village Chack Ramchand. Siddharth Dhiman, Cluster Head Arun Kapoor, Ravinder Singh and many others were present on the occasion.
Free ration was distributed in Ward Number 1, 2 and 3 in presence of Chairman of the Vijaypur Municipal Committee Deepak and respective Ward Members. Rajan, Madhu Sharma, Ravi and many others were present on the occasion.
SSP Jammu, Sridhar Patil along with Chairman of Team Jammu Zorawar Singh Jamwal and other volunteers distributed ration and other items including dates to the those residents of the remotest areas of Doda, Kishtwar and Reasi districts who have been stranded at Janipur and adjoining localities of Jammu city. SHO Police Station Janipur Inspector Naresh Sharma, Er Chandan Datta, Pritpal Singh, Akshay Gupta and Surinder Sharma were also present on the occasion.
Youth Association for Service of Humanity and Nation (YASHN) held a camp at border village Degwar in District Poonch where medicines were distributed among needy persons. President of YASHN Imtiaz Salaria, Iftkhar Bazmi, Abrar Akhter, Panches and Sarpanches of Degwar Panchayat were also present on the occasion.
Shri Ram Leela Club, Sainik Colony and Samajik Aur Saanskritic Sanstha visited Police Station Bishnah and handed over 25 PPE kits and 200 face masks to SHO Bishnah Inspector Deepak Pathania. Rajeshwar Singh President of the Club, Rakesh Choudhary Vice President and Romi Gupta Owner Savita Enterprises were present on the occasion.
Dr Sheetal Singh, former GMC Principal and philanthropist distributed large quantity of dry ration and cooked food in the slums of Trikuta Nagar.
