JAMMU, Feb 25: Jammu Warriors Front (JWF) Chairman Rajesh Gupta today urged Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) to dispose off the cases which are lying pending for more than 7 years.
In a statement issued, here Gupta said that like CAT has passed strictures against Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (PSC) for taking the court cases casually, it must adopt same procedure against JK Service Selection Board (SSB) for taking the cases casually which has increased the pendency.
Gupta has urged to the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) to make the precedent and adopt the similar decision for the SSB.
Mentioning the CAT’s statement he said, “The Public Service Commission is a creation of a statute as such a Constitutional entity and such casual approach from any institution which selects the cream of bureaucracy and other allied fields is highly deplorable.”
