JAMMU, Dec 11: A protest was held by Displaced Pandit Youth Forum in front of Press Club here today demanding immediate release of pending selection lists under PM package the posts of which were advertised vide notification 01 of 2012 for Kashmiri migrants.
The protesters said over 3000 candidates have qualified written tests, given interviews and also were falling in the criteria set by Government and Service Selection Board.
The protesters said being the genuine candidates as they have qualified the written tests and participated in the interviews so JKSSRB should release the selection list as early as possible. The protesters said that they were suffering for last four years without any fault of theirs.
In an appeal to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti they have sought her personnel intervention in the matter. The youth reiterated that they are willing to serve in their home districts in Kashmir valley as per SRO 412 of 2010.
The protest was held under the chairmanship of Deepak Jad and others who spoke included Ashwani Mantoo, Deepak Pandita, G P Singh etc.
