Displaced pensioners for implementation of 7th Pay Penal report

JAMMU, July 5: A meeting of Displaced Medical Pensioners was held here today under the chairmanship of Dr C N Tickoo in which grave surprise was expressed over the statement of Chief Minister that seventh Pay Commission will be implemented after two years in the State.
Addressing the meeting, P K Peshin general secretary of the Displaced Medical Pensioners Welfare Forum urged the Chief Minister to announce the terms of implementation of Seventh Pay Commission immediately. The meeting also urged the Government to concede the long pending demand of increasing the medical allowance to Rs 1000 per month.
