JAMMU, Apr 4: Displaced Medical Pensioners Forum (DMPF) in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of M L Raina discussed various problems of pensioners of the State.
Addressing the meeting P K Peshin senior leader of the Forum expressed the hope that the new Government in its first Cabinet meeting will approve the release if 12 percent D A to pensioners and employees.
The pensioners also demanded that the existing Medical Allowance be raised from Rs 300 per month to Rs 1000 and the pensioners of the State be brought under Medical Insurance scheme.
