JAMMU, May 13: Director Prosecution, Sunita Kargotra, today inaugurated the renovated office of the Deputy Director Prosecution (DDP), Jammu, situated at Gandhi Nagar. The inauguration ceremony included a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by the Director Prosecution in the presence of senior officers and officials of the department.
The ceremony was attended by Rajesh Gill, DDP Jammu; Harminder Singh, Prashant Mahajan, Ashish Rathore and Jawaid Khawaja, Deputy Directors of Prosecution Headquarters; Altaf Hussain , Amir Beig, Ankush Sharma, Ritu Bharti and Abhilasha, Senior Prosecuting Officers of Headquarters, and Mohit Sharma, Prosecuting Officer.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director Prosecution acknowledged the efforts of Rajesh Gill, DDP Jammu, for completing the renovation of the office within a short period after assuming charge. She highlighted how he promptly provided necessary assistance and support to district prosecutors.
The Director further assured DDP Jammu of all possible assistance and support for the smooth functioning of prosecution work in the district courts.
Earlier, Rajesh Gill welcomed the guests and briefed the Director Prosecution about the functioning of the DDP office. He also highlighted the shortage of assisting staff for prosecutors working in the Sessions Courts and other magisterial courts.
Others officials of DDP office present on the occasion are Vishal Koul, Sheil Khan, Dimple Singh, Govind Singh, Khursheeda Begum, Ashu Raina and Sansar Singh.
