Director keeps orders of 171 officials in abeyance

JAMMU, July 14: In a surprising move, the Director School Education Jammu, Yasha Mudgal today kept her own order of transfers of 171 Masters, Lecturers and Headmasters in abeyance.
Official sources said that Director School Education, Jammu issued orders No. 402, 403 and 405-DSEJ of 2015 dated  11-7-2015, with regard to the transfers and postings of  95 Masters, 45 Lecturers and 30 Headmasters in different Govt Schools in the region. In compliance to the said order, some of the officials resumed their new places of postings.
The Director today issued just another order No. DSEJ/ Gen/ 12946-14200 dated 14-7-2015 and kept all the three orders affecting 171 officials in abeyance till further orders.
When contacted Ms Mudgal said, ” There were some discrepancies in the previous order. A few premature transfers were detected in one of the orders. Therefore, I kept all the three orders of July 11, in abeyance for re-examining them and rectifying the mistake,” she maintained.
With this order of DSE, a confusion has been created among the affected members of teaching fraternity in the department. Their fate will kept hanging in balance till  the new order is issued.
