Srinagar, Dec 10: Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats United Forum today said that Director Agriculture Kashmir has exercised his powers vested in him in accordance with rules and regulations in vogue to give promotion to Non-Gazetted employees of the department while as the Director Agriculture Jammu has failed to promote the employees even after finalizing the seniority list.
The Forum said that recently Director Agriculture Kashmir conducted Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of non-gazetted Agriculture employees which was within his capacity and Director Agriculture Jammu has failed to do so.
The Forum said that Director Agriculture Jammu has sent a misleading letter (NO. Agri/ Esst./ 40-2019/631, Dated: 04/12/2019) to the Agriculture Production Department (APD) about the DPC to hide his failure.
“The reference of SRO 375 clause 21 and 21(a) made in his letter reflects his negligence towards his seriousness of clearing DPC at his own Directorate”, the Forum said.
The Forum said that the Director Agriculture Kashmir has followed SRO 375 in letter and spirit while implementing SRO-442 as per the provisions spelt out under section 20 and section 21 (b) of the said SRO.
