SRINAGAR, Nov 21: The Director of Agriculture Chowdary Mohammad Iqbal today distributed seeds and fertilizers among 100 beneficiaries for 500 kanals of land at the Latti Mohalla Rainawari area of Srinagar.
The event was organized by the Spring Buds Educational Trust, Ompora in collaboration with ISDS Foundation.
On the occasion, the Director of Agriculture, who was the chief guest, applauded the work of the trust and assured the beneficiaries of every possible support by the department.
The other dignitaries who were present include Sheikh Imran, the Agriculture Officer and other officials from the agricultural department as well as the Secretary of Spring Buds Educational Trust.
The trust provided the beneficiaries 10 days of training at SKUAST-K while the pickles and fruit jam training was also provided to women so that they could earn for their families.
