JAMMU, June 5: Sunil Dimple led protest rally against the authorities of Power Development Department (PDD) and Public Health Engineering (PHE) on Janipur High Court road, here today.
The rally was the amalgam of traders, general public including children and old aged persons.
The protesters said that Jammu is facing long duration power cuts and all water supplies in the Jammu city had been badly affected for the last four days.
Addressing the protestors, Dimple said that people are spending sleepless nights due to no power in the whole night, adding that the patients, old aged persons, children and women are worst suffers due to power cuts of 15 to 18 hours in the Jammu city.
He said even after the assurance of the PDD Minister the department is very careless and the people are facing lot of unscheduled power cuts.
Prominent protestors included Ashok Khana, Vicky Mahajan, Babu Mahajan, Dev Raj, Sanjay Sethi, Joginder Sharma, Das Ram and Brahmu Sharma.
