REASI, Dec 13: DIG of Police, DKR Range, Dr Sunil Gupta, today visited Reasi and conducted the formal inspection for the year 2021-22 of district Reasi.
The DIG was received by SSP Reasi Amit Gupta and other officers at DPO Reasi where he conducted the inspection of records of various branches and was briefed about working of different units of DPO by concerned Incharge.
Thereafter, DIG visited District Police Lines Reasi where he was presented The Guard Of Honour. During inspection, DIG inspected different units in DPL including Kot, Stores, Barracks, Mess, Welfare Centre etc.
The officer also inspected MT fleet of District Police Reasi at DPL. He interacted with the officers of District Police Reasi and reviewed their working and ascertained their requirements with respect to manpower, equipments and mobility.
The officers, who were also present during the inspection, included Master Popsy, ASP Reasi; Neeraj Padyar, DySP Hqrs Reasi and Ajaz Ahmed, DySP DAR, Reasi.
The overall functioning of district was found very good for the period under inspection, said a press statement.
