DIG Sujit Kumar donates computer system to college

JAMMU, Feb 23: Range Police Headquarters Srinagar headed by DIG CKR, Sujit Kumar (and other officers and officials of RPHQ organized a function in Amar Singh College Srinagar where a computer system with accessories, curtains etc were donated to upgrade the Lab of Computer Science Department of College.
On the occasion, Principal Prof. Bashir Ahmad Rather, in his opening remarks, expressed his gratitude towards J&K Police. The function was made successful by the key role played by Prof. Shabnum Ara. Other professors who attended the function included Prof. Mujeeb Ahmad Kawoosa, Prof. Kanwal Jeet Singh, Prof. Gurdip Singh, Prof. Arshid Ahmad Yatto, Prof. Owais Shafi Zargar, Prof. Zahid Zargar, Prof Arshad Hussain, Prof. Kaisara Jan, Prof. Jamsheeda and Prof. Shafia.
Students of computer science department who were present were also given refreshment by RPHQ Srinagar. Sujit Kumar in his address highlighted the role of Police in extending such helping hand towards public and especially educational institutions. He urged the students to work hard in life so as to become valuable citizens for the society at large.
Vote of thanks was presented by Sajjad Khaliq Bhat, staff officer RPHQ Srinagar during which he expressed that serving the student community is always a matter of pleasure and honor.
