DIG RP Range holds intelligence, security review in Rajouri

RAJOURI, May 2: DIG Rajouri-Poonch (RP) Range, Tajinder Singh, chaired a comprehensive intelligence and security review conference at the Conference Hall of District Police Lines (DPL), Rajouri today.
The meeting saw the attendance of top officials including Amritpal Singh, SSP Rajouri, along with all Gazetted Officers and territorial SHOs of Police Stations within the district.
During the conference, extensive discussions were held on several critical security issues such as internal security, the upcoming GELS-2024, and strategies for National Highway deployments.
The officers in attendance provided detailed reports on their field intelligence networks, the current security measures in place, and ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks within their jurisdictions.
Highlighting the urgency of the situation, DIG RP Range urged the officers to continually pursue the eradication of terrorism through innovative intelligence collection and analysis techniques.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening human intelligence networks and maintaining a high level of vigilance and operational readiness to address potential security challenges or incidents effectively.
