JAMMU, June 8: Deputy Inspector General of Police, IRP Range Jammu, Sarah Rizvi today visited the Battalion Headquarters of IRP-l5th Battalion Gulshan Ground, Jammu and took stock of the activities carried out by the Battalion.
On her arrival, the DIG IRP Range Jammu was received by Mubassir Latifi SSP (CO IRP-l5th Bn.) along with other officers of the battalion.
After taking the General Salute at Quarter Guard, she conducted the darbar of the Nafri. At the outset, CO. IRP-15th Battalion gave a brief introduction about duties/nafri and major issues related to accommodation/ logistics and welfare of jawans.
A number of officials raised their genuine demands before her for which she assured an affirmative action and also appreciated the efforts put in by the Commandant IRP-l5th Battalion for the welfare of the women officials.
On her maiden visit to the IRP-l5th Battalion, she inspected the Unit Mess / Creche / Gym / Barracks / Stores / Beauty Parlour / Knitting & Tailoring section etc.
Later, the DIG IRP Range Jammu chaired a meeting of Gazetted officers of the unit in the office chamber of CO.IRP-l5th Bn. and discussed various issues of the Battalion.
