JAMMU, May 3: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range Ashkoor Ahmed Wani held crime review meeting of Sub-Division Domana.
DIG was accompanied by Arun Gupta, Additional SP Rural Jammu, Sunita Kargotra CPO Range Police Headquarters Jammu and Surinder Kumar SDPO Domana.
The meeting was attended by SHO Police Station Domana Inspector Rajeshwar Singh, SHO Police Station Kanachack Rakesh Singh and Investigating Officers of these Police Stations.
Various old/freshly registered cases were reviewed and necessary guidelines were given to the Investigating Officers for early disposal of the cases, so that timely justice is delivered to the public on ground.
The Territorial Officers were also given directions for taking preventive measures to curb the menace of accidents on Jammu-Akhnoor roads, especially in the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana, so that precious lives could be saved.
Regarding missing persons of Sub Division Domana, DIG Jammu stressed for special efforts to trace out them.
SHOs will take strict action against drug peddlers and land mafia, DIG Jammu added.
