Srinagar, Nov 4: After remaining shut due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) has ordered the resumption of routine oral health care services across all the hospitals in Kashmir division with taking due precautions as per COVID-19 protocols.
A circular issued by the Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Samir Mattoo ordered all the CMOs, Medical Superintendent and BMOs to ensure that oral healthcare services are resumed.
“In the interest of patient care and oral healthcare in particular, it is impressed upon all the Chief Medical Officers/ Medical Superintendent of District & Sub District Hospitals/ Block Medical Officers to ensure and assure that dental procdures and its related services are started in all the health facilities with immediate effect,” the circular said.
It added that all the officers shall ensure that such services are made functional by adapting the Standard Operating Procedures of COVID-19 in vogue.
