JAMMU, Jan 10: Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu, Dr Gurjeet Singh, today visited Jammu urban slums and took stock of various activities under Intensified Mission Indradanush (IMI).
Accompanied by Dr Sanjay Turki, CMO Jammu and DIO, Dr Sanjay Sharma, Dr Gurjeet Singh visited Maratha Basti and administered polio drops to children. He expressed satisfaction regarding the activities of day 4 of IMI.
Dr Singh informed that at the end of 4th day of IMI, about 632 sessions were held in which 1134 children and 121 pregnant women were immunized.
On Tuesday, DHS Jammu had visited rural areas of Bishnah to take stock of various activities under Intensified Mission Indradanush (IMI). Yesterday, he had informed that at the end of 3rd day of IMI, about 502 sessions were held in which 874 children against the target of 832 were immunized while 87 pregnant women against the preset target of 50 were immunized.
