JAMMU, July 27: Director Health Services (DHS) today suspended the license/registration of JK Medicity Hospital Private Limited with immediate effect.
In the order, Director Health Services, who is also Supervising Authority under J&K Nursing Homes and Clinical Establishments Act, has mentioned that JK Medicity Hospital has violated Section 5, Sub-Section (III) and (IV) and Section 6 (A) under Chapter II of J&K Nursing Homes and Clinical Establishments (Registration and Licensing) Act 1963.
He has also asked the Hospital not to carry out any activity.
It is pertinent to mention here that a doctor and a Female Health Worker of the Hospital were arrested for their negligence in performing their duties which resulted into death of foetus due to administration of abortion medicines.
