JAMMU, Aug 26: Directorate of Health Services today ordered closure of newly opened dialysis centre for its failure to obtain formal permission.
The dialysis centre under the name and style of M/s Nephro Care was opened yesterday without obtaining formal permission from the Directorate of Health Services Jammu.
Taking serious note of this, Director Health Services, Dr Baljit Pathania today issued order directing closure of the centre till inspection by a team and subsequent issuance of formal registration certificate.
“The owner of the centre applied for the registration only yesterday and before the Directorate could set into motion process for inspection, the centre was thrown open”, Dr Pathania told EXCELSIOR, adding “I as a supervisory authority have issued notice with the direction that centre shall remain closed till formal inspection by a team of doctors from Directorate and subsequent issuance of registration certificate”.
