JAMMU, Sept 3: The J&K Dharmarth Trust has finalized all necessary preparations for two significant events, the Historic Kailash Yatra and the Annual Mela Patt.
In a statement issued today, the Trust announced that the Annual Kailash Yatra of Shri Vasuki Nag Ji Maharaj Bhaderwah will commence on September 11, 2023. The journey will commence with the Holy Chhari procession starting from Gatha at 8:30 AM, merging with Nagar Chhari at Vasakdera at 10:30 AM, and then proceeding towards the first Padav Hayyan via Sungli. Devotees will camp in Hayyan for the night. On the second day, the Holy Chhari will ascend to Kailash Kund Bhaderwah, situated at an altitude of 14,500 ft, via Ramtund, where the sacred bath in the Kailash Kund and rituals will be conducted. The third day will mark the return journey from Kailash Kund to Bhaderwah Town.
Additionally, the Annual Mela Patt 2023 will feature rituals conducted on September 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2023, at Mohalla Khakhal Ground in Bhaderwah.
The management of J&K Dharmarth Trust expressed its appreciation to the District Administration Doda for their essential support in organizing these two major events that hold immense cultural and spiritual significance for Bhaderwah and its residents.
Brig (Retd) R.S Langeh, President of J&K DT has assured that all the arrangements for devotees including lodging and hygienic meals have been ensured as it is considered by the Trust to be foremost responsibility.
Ashok Kumar Sharma, Trust’s Secretary has assured that following the directions of top management, this time the arrangements shall be state of art giving a lifetime opportunity to devotees to complete this pious pilgrimage with convenience and serenity.
