Dharmarth Trust celebrates birthday of Dr Karan Singh

JAMMU, Mar 9: The Employees of J&K Dharmarth Trust celebrated the 84th Birthday of Chairman Trustee of the Trust Dr Karan Singh, MP, renowned statesman, an eminent educationest.
A grand function was organised by J&K Dharmarth Trust today. Dr Karan Singh’s political life started at the early age of 18 and was elected as Sadar-e-Riyasat and lastly as Governor. At the age of 36 Dr Karan Singh was Union Cabinet Minister headed by Prime Minister Indra Gandhi. Soon he was elected for Lok Sabha from Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency in Jammu and Kashmir on Indian National Congress ticket.
On the occasion, prayers and other rituals were preformed in the Natraj Temple and Raghunath Ji Temple by group of priests. The function was organzied by Maj Gen (Retd) R S Jamwal Presidend of J&K Dharmarth Trust with Secretary Shashi Khajuria and Staff member of the Dharmarth Trust.
Later, Parsad was distributed among the school children, devotees and staff members.
