JAMMU, Mar 9: Director General of Police, Prisons (J&K), Dr S P Vaid today paid visit to the District Jail Jammu and reviewed the security scenario there.
After taking the charge of the J&K Prisons Department, Dr Vaid during his first visit to the District Jail Jammu, interacted with the Superintendent Jail Harish Kotwal and senior staff. He discussed the security related issues and other measures taken by the SP Jail.
Dr Vaid also visited inside the Jail and interacted with prisoners and also listened to their grievances. He inspected the Jail Hospital and Khadi Khana. He also went round the few barracks of the Jail.
