DG CRPF reviews situation

SRINAGAR, July 22: The Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Dilip Trivedi, is on two day visit to Kashmir valley.
A statement issued by the CRPF said that the DG interacted with senior officers of CRPF on July 21 the law and order situation in the Valley.
The DG was briefed about the Baltal incident by KS Bhandari, IGP CRPF Srinagar Sector. He also had a meeting with DGP Jammu and Kashmir Police, K Rajendra and discussed various issues related to law and order and security in the Valley.
The statement said that he visited Baltal to take the stock of situation there. He visited other Base camps established for Amarnathji Yatra and left for Delhi in the evening.
There were allegations against the CRPF for firing in Kulgam and Anantnag districts last week in which one youth was killed and several others were injured.
