JAMMU, Sept 5: Director General BSF Rakesh Asthana today visited Forward Posts along International Border (IB) in Samba district of Jammu region.
As per official sources, he also inspected the site where tunnel was found last week by the BSF coming from Pakistan side.

The sources said that Mr Asthana, flanked by top ranked officers of Jammu Frontier, visited Glad BOP and took stock of the border situation.
Subsequently, he, along with senior officers, visited other forward border outposts.
The DG interacted with officer and Jawans and praised them for their dedication towards the safe guarding of International Borders.
He also conveyed that BSF is a well disciplined and professional force. The BSF chief is on three-day visit to Jammu Frontier which started yesterday.
