JAMMU, Feb 24: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) held a protest against non-availability of ration in the Government ration depots meant for Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.
The workers of DF&SS led by its president Ashok Gupta held a protest and raised slogans against the Government and CAPD Department for non-availability of ration in the Government ration depots.
Addressing the gathering, Ashok Gupta said that the concerned officials of CAPD Department are supplying the ration meant for BPL families to APL families.
He demanded high level enquiry into the incident and warned to launch crusade if Government fails to do the needful for the BPL families.
Among others present were Vikram Sharma, Ravi Kumar, Som Nath, Bantu, Ramesh, etc.
Later, a deputation of DF&SS led by Ashok Gupta met SSP Jammu and apprised him about the black marketing of the ration. SSP assured necessary action against the black marketers.
