JAMMU, July 29: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) held protest against former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti here today.
The workers of DF&SS led by its President Ashok Gupta at old city and held protest against Mehbooba Mufti for warning the Centre against revocation of the Article 35-A of the constitution by saying that any tinkering with the State special status or identity would be akin to setting a powder keg on fire. The protestors also raised slogans against the Mehbooba Mufti.
While speaking, Ashok Gupta warned former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for not giving any statement related to Article 35-A in the future.
He said that if additional forces have been deployed in the Valley for the safety and security of the Kashmiris then why they are bothered.
“If the leaders think that there is a high number of security personnel in Valley then they should leave their security”, he added.
Gupta said that the most unfortunate part is that if a daughter of the J&K gets married in any other State of India all her rights as the citizen are barred, but in the contrary if she gets married in Pakistan all her rights as the citizen of J&K are intact.
