JAMMU, May 3: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena Bala Thakerey took out a procession from Domana to CAPD Head Office and gheraoed the AD Jammu City in his office for six hours for non-availability of ration and other essential items of daily use.
Raising slogans against CAPD Department, the workers of Shiv Sena and Dogra Front launched a strong protest. President Dogra Front and Shiv Sena, Ashok Gupta, while addressing, stated that shopkeepers were selling Paneer, Curd and milk on the rates more than prescribed by the CAPD Department. He said non-availability of ration items at depots has made the lives of common people miserable. Same was the case with LPG supply.
Later a deputation met Director Food and Supplies and apprised him of the problems. The Director took cognizance of the matter and issued orders to solve the grievances of people.
