JAMMU, Oct 6: The Dewan Badri Nath chain of schools today distributed the relief material among the flood hit people in Tawi island whose houses were damaged in recent flash floods.
The Dewan Badri Nath School Talab Tillo, Dewan Badri Nath School, Mubarak Mandi and SNS Trust office bearers and school children visited the area with relief material and distributed the same among the victims.
The team was led by Dr Rama Kant Dubey Member SNS Trust and advisor of the school. He was accompanied by the principles and advisors of the school. The relief material was distributed through the school children among the victims to create a fellow feeling and spirit of humanity among them.
Ramakrishna Mission Jammu in collaboration with Srimat Vivekananda Youth Fourm Ghordi provided relief building material to those who lost their houses in recent heavy rain fall. About 71 families of Ghrodi block in district Udhampur were provided building material . Secretary RKM Swami Nirantra Nanda provided relief material as per the request of SVYS. They visited Ghrodi block and provided relief building material to the victims. RKM has already provided relief building material in district Rajouri and Reasi .
Twenty roof steel sheets, twenty feet long four iron pipes per family. Vishal Sharma president SVYF has taken personnel initiative and requested RKM to provide relief material to the victims.
