Devotee donates gold crown to Sai Baba temple

NASHIK, June 12:  An ardent Sai devotee donated a gold crown worth Rs 23 lakh to the Sai Baba temple at Shirdi in Ahmednagar district yesterday.

The crown, weighing 700 gm and worth Rs 23 lakh was donated by Mr Subhashchandra Bos of Andhra Pradesh. He is the owner of SVR travel company.

For the past 20 years, SVR travel company has been  providing bus service to Sai baba devotees between Andhra Pradesh and Shirdi.

Mr Bos donated the gold crown as his travel company  completed 20 year service between Andhra Pradesh and Shirdi.

He performed a pooja of Sai Baba, along with his family members including wife, two daughters and two son-in-laws.

Another NHSV Prasad from Vijaywada had donated gold ornaments worth Rs 28 lakh to the Sai Baba temple in Shirdi on June 1. (UNI)
