Development of rural areas my priority: Jugal

JAMMU, Dec 30: State president of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and MLA from Nagrota Constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma today laid the  foundation stone of a culvert  near  the cremation ground at Manwal with an estimated cost of Rs. 5 lakh and also inspected various ongoing developmental works in  his constituency.
DPO Sayeed Tariq Ahmed Saurawardhy, BDO Ashwaq Ahmed,Panchayat Inspector Javed Ahmed beside a large number of local residents accompanied the MLA. Interacting with the locals, Sharma said that he is fully committed for the betterment of people living in the rural areas of Nagrota Constituency and reiterated his commitment to provide every nook and corner of the constituency with road connectivity. He asked the concerned officers to redouble their efforts in completing the construction work of the culvert and other ongoing developmental works in the area at the earliest.“ I am keenly monitoring the ongoing development works in Nagrota Constituency and providing liberal funding for all basic amenities like safe drinking water, road connectivity, healthcare, education, electricity, besides better lanes and drains, he added. 
He said many more projects are in pipeline to provide succor to the ruralities through developmental schemes. He said people’s cooperation is imperative to make the area progressive and prosperous. He called upon the people not to pay heed to the nefarious designs of those who mislead people by false slogans to meet their vested interests.
