JAMMU, Mar 29: BJP senior leader and JMC councillor, Sanjay Kumar Baru today inaugurated pave tiles work of two lanes with estimated cost of Rs seven lac along with BJP Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, senior citizen R.K Koul, BJP Ward president, Ashok Singh Wazir and JMC J.E (Works) Balvinder Singh at Hazooribagh Colony, Bohri falling in Ward Number 41.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Kumar Baru said that after abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A, development works in Jammu Kashmir (UT) are in full swings and recruitment in different departments are in progress. He also complimented the Jammu Kashmir (UT) administration for the fare selection in the JK Bank recruitment with out any discrimination.
Baru said that development works of Rs 1.80 Crore have been executed in last two years of his tenure as corporator and at present works of approximately 1.5 crore are in progress or in tendering process in his Ward.
He Rs 4.81crore were sanctioned for much required Deep Drain from Bohri Chowk to Santra Morh Nallah through KC Hazoribagh Colony for which tender has been advertised by UEED last week.
Keshav Chopra said that all BJP councillors of JMC are trying their best to develop their respective wards as model one. He also praised the party worker of Talab Tillo Mandal for helping the needy in the Corona Pandemic.
BJP district vice president, Jaideep Singh Samayal, Mandal general secretary Ashok Singh Wazir, Shakti Kendra, Pramukh, Bhavesh Thapa, Atul Chopra, Naresh Gupta, Ashish Kumar, Sardar Jangjeet Singh, Pyare Lal Mawa and others were present on the occasion.
