JAMMU, Jan 3: All round development of all hamlets irrespective of caste, colour and creed is core agenda of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was stated by former MLC, Vikram Randhawa while kick-starting the earthwork of a road in Ward No-73, Bhour Camp of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment, here today.
While addressing the people on the occasion, Randhawa said that the condition of the road was dilapidated and the matter was brought to his notice which was accordingly taken up with the PWD.
“Due to bad weather, the premixing could not be done today but the department concerned was directed to conduct earthwork,” he added.
“It is the trust of the people in BJP that the BJP has emerged as the single largest political in J&K during recently conducted elections of District Development Councils (DDCs) and by-election of Panchayats,” he asserted.
He assured the people that as soon as the weather permit the premixing work on the said road would be completed. He said that making Gandhi Nagar a model constituency is his dream and all weather road links to all the hamlets of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment is top priority.
Others who were present on the occasion included Bharat Bhushan (President Satwari Mandal), Pitambar Sharma, Bharat Sharma, Girdhari Lal, Bhushan Nath and many others.
