SRINAGAR, June 7: Deputy Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today called on Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh and urged him for launching subsidized helicopter services for Gurez.
Mr Gurezi also projected several issues before the Home Minister for development of Gurez which includes construction of tunnel on Gurez-Bandipora road and up-gradation of Bandipora-Gurez- Drass road. He also demanded special recruitment drive in paramilitary forces for the youth of Gurez.
Mr Gurezi also discussed in detail with the Union Home Minister about promotion of Sheena language through Doordarshan.
The Union Home Minister assured the Deputy Speaker that the issues brought into his notice would be redressed at the earliest.
