JAMMU, Nov 24: Demanding the implementation of Supreme Court verdict on 20 per cent additional DA to the employees, pensioners and family pensioners, a deputation led by Vijay Sharma, Retired Deputy Commissioner State Taxes here today met LG’s Advisor, Farooq Khan.
Sharma referred Assam High Court Judgement wherein it has directed the State to grant additional DA of 20 per cent immediately when a retiree enters the age of 79+. Assam Government went in appeal to Supreme Court which upheld the verdict of Assam High Court.
Nations Development Association chairman and Paryavaran Ratna Awardee, Sushil Singh Charak also accompanied the deputation.
Khan assured to take up the issue in Administrative Council.
