JAMMU, June 20: Led by BJP Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Yudhvir Sethi, a deputation comprising of a large number of people from Pacca Danga, Khilonewali Gali and Afghana Mohalla called on PDD Executive Engineer and apprised him about the problems being faced by them due to non-replacement of a transformer that got damaged two days ago. They expressed their anger and sought his personal intervention in providing some relief to them.
Yudhvir Sethi, while briefing the Executive Engineer A.K. Chhibber about the grievances of the people, said that a transformer installed in Children Park, Pacca Danga, got totally damaged as it caught fire two days ago and the entire area of Pacca Danga, Khilone Walki Gali and some parts of the Afghana Mohalla turned into total darkness and in these days when there is dire need of electricity, the people had to suffer for two days. He urged the PDD official to immediately replace the damaged transformer.
A.K. Chhibber, Executive Engineer, assured the deputationists of immediate relief and on his personal intervention transformer was replaced.
